Cream Cheese Lasagna

A rich, creamy twist on traditional lasagna using cream cheese and sour cream.

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef until well-browned and no longer pink — about 6 to 8 minutes. Drain the fat. Stir in spaghetti sauce, garlic powder and seasoned salt. Set the meat mixture aside.
  2. Stir together cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. One bowl does this job — no need to get fancy.
  3. Place 3 cooked lasagna noodles in a 2-quart rectangular baking dish. Spread with half of the cream cheese mixture. Top with half of the meat mixture and half of the cheese. Repeat layers.
  4. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the edges are bubbling and the cheese on top is melted and slightly golden. Let it sit 10 minutes before cutting into it — it'll hold together much better, and you won't burn your mouth.
